Midtown Cycleway Feasibility

Delivering a cross town option for people on bikes

scroll

The Midtown Cycleway Feasibility study has examined several routing options for a cross-midtown cycleway by applying a multi-criteria analysis. Based on nine criteria (cohesion, directness, comfort, safety, cost, network function, strategic fit, place), the suitability of various trajectories was evaluated and one routing option emerged as the ‘best fit’. A set of design considerations was included in the study, and it ultimately provided a conceptual design for the cross-midtown cycleway for the selected routing option.
